At EA Group we have the expertise and facilities to create in-house bespoke gates to fit your requirements, whether this involves the gate to ‘go around corners’ or even to drop underground due to limited space. Our in house engineering team can accommodate these requests from the design process all the way through to the fabrication and installation of your ideal gate.

From design to finished product, EA Group (UK) were awarded the contract at concept design stage for the manufacture, supply and installation of this impressive, completely bespoke automated 32 metre curved sliding gate system for the newly built 26 story art deco inspired art’otel in the vibrant area of East London’s Hoxton.

Our impressive, curved sliding gate was designed to wrap around the main entrance guest drop off, concierge area of the newly opened hotel and would become one of the first standout art pieces guests see on approaching the hotel entrance. From the initial planning stage to ensuring every piece integrated smoothly together, the hanging of the gates to final automation was carefully designed using our in house CAD and project teams expertise, every aspect of the gate was constructed within our own UK manufacturing premises using our in house specialist teams, then delivered to site and installed again by our own engineering team to ensure during the complete solution we had oversight and control of every aspect of the project.

This complete gate system is an impressive feat of engineering as when being designed every section and every individual component of the gate had to be accounted for to ensure a smooth trouble free operating system and overly an impressive flagship finished piece.

The overall gate manufacture consisted of manufacturing and installing the system in four individual sections these ended up being 8 metre by 4.5 metre sections which in itself was a huge technical challenge, each section consisted of multiple panels each individually designed to fit and work with the next to offer the strength, durability and design concept needed for the project, with a mix of dark powder coat finishes and gold anodised infills, this offered a very distinct and suitable finish for such a vibrant entrance.
